Dr. Rado is board certified in both internal medicine and psychiatry and has over 20 years experience practicing integrated psychiatry and internal medicine in primary care settings. He designed and implemented the first collaborative care program at Northwestern with the goal of providing comprehensive depression and anxiety treatment in primary care. His most recent role is director of the Northwestern Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science’s Clinical Trials Research Program, where he leads studies of novel pharmaceutical compounds and neuromodulation approaches for major depression, bipolar disorder and schizophrenia.
