Dr. Anjali Bhagra is a Professor of Medicine and Medical Director, Enterprise Automation Hub and Office of Equity, Inclusion and Diversity (EID) at Mayo Clinic. She is the Vice Chair of Mayo Clinic EID oversight committee and a member of the Mayo Clinic Executive Operations Team. She has served as the Education Chair for section of Integrative Medicine, the Vice Chair of Faculty Development, Division of General Internal Medicine at Mayo and board member of The Society for Ultrasound in Medical Education (SUSME). She serves as member of the HIMSS Global Health Equity Network Task Force, the Medical Industry Leadership Institute (MILI), the MMA Health Equity Community practice group, and board member of National IGNITEMed program and World India Diabetes Foundation. She is a sought out thought leader, educator, mentor, innovator and speaker on the topics of Healthcare Transformation, Automation Ecosystem, Resilience, Leadership, and Healthcare Equity nationally and internationally. Dr. Bhagra is recipient of the prestigious Kesari Woman of the Year Award in India for her contributions in equity and social advocacy. She is the co-founder and co-director of the Mayo Clinic conference on resilience and leadership titled GRIT (Growth, Resilience, Inspiration, Tenacity) in Medicine and RISE (Reflect, Inspire, Strengthen, Empower) for Equity. These national conferences are intended to empower individuals and organizations with skills and resources to promote innovation and build an inclusive environment in healthcare. She is co-founder of the “GRIT in Medicine” and “RISE for Equity” podcasts. She is a clinical investigator with expertise in point of care imaging technologies and in well-being and resilience. Dr. Bhagra’s leadership contributions include building strategy and execution of intelligent automation for healthcare transformation at an organizational level.
