Denise Furness, PhD, BSc (Hons), RNutr+
 

Denise Furness, an award-winning, peer-reviewed and published research scientist, has spent her career studying folate, nutrigenomics, DNA damage, epigenetics and fertility and pregnancy health. After founding Your Genes and Nutrition in 2012, Denise brought her expertise on fertility, thyroid health and healthy aging to her private practice patients on the Sunshine Coast of Australia. She also lectures on epigenetics and nutrigenomics as a faculty member at the Australasian College of Nutrition Environmental Medicine (ACNEM). In 2023, Denise conducted the Bio-Age study, which explored nutrient and lifestyle strategies aimed at slowing the aging process and reducing the risk of age-related disorders.
